We are sponsoring a Syrian family we do not know - paying $10,000+ out of our own pocket and supporting their resettlement because we feel THAT strongly about our responsibility to others who have lost everything. Please help us and others like us so; sped up the refugee approval process; send planes to get desperate people to Canada quickly, and set up a matching program to encourage Canadians to help. Provide leadership now. Thank you

I am outraged that the world is just sitting back doing nothing to stop the war in Syria. Haven't you seen or heard enough to bring yourselves to open the doors to these victims or get feet on the ground to stop the violence. Peace for the Syrians.

It is time to take decisive action to help the Syrian refugees, who are in dire need. It is the humane thing to do amd the Canadian government needs to step up to the plate and do much much more and do it now. Their response thus far has been pathetic and shameful and not worthy of a nation that used to play a much more prominent humane role globally.
