It's a shame that a player of Ortiz' caliber announced to retire at the end of this season. Not only he's a baseball icon but he's cherished and loved by fans of all teams and colors. They all do not wish to see him leave this early. It is why we're joined into this petition by fans across Canada and US and other Latin countries.
