I support Kirke's petition as I know how this program helped him now entering the teaching profession. DGE Dean Emeritus of Education, BGSU

PALs is the sort of educational model that should be adopted across the country, not charter schools.

Two of my granddaughters were in the PALS program and benefited greatly. As they progressed through the program they became mentors and helpers to the younger children. It helped them grow tremendously and I believe they were a great influence on the younger children that they helped. Please do noT discontinue this program, it is too beneficial to the students that participate in the PALS PROGRAM.

I am the grandmother of 2 girls who have excelled in the PALS program. I've put in approximately 50 hours as a volunteer in both age groupings and have been enormously impressed by the quality of the education and the social benefits of mixed grades. Please do not eliminate this excellent program.

I moved to Verona in the 6th grade, and never got to experience this program. However, I can tell you that every single friend that did talked about how amazing this program is. They each were so passionate about their experience they made me wish I had moved to Verona sooner, just for this program.

The PALs program is a big part of the person I grew up to be. As a participant in the program, I was exposed to a set of activities that undoubtably shaped my proficiency in soft skills and critical thinking. This program deserves to continue proving that innovation can lead to great educational and social outcomes.

PALs program has more than 20 years of proven success--and my two kids are proof of that. It is a model of what education should be throughout the district.

I'm the grandmother of 2 students who benefited from the PALS program at Stoner Prairie (Max and Julia Beardsley). I would like the program continued so other children could benefit from the innovative program.

PALs has been a wonderful program for my boys. It has created a community of flexible, adaptable, resilient children that give to each other and strive to do their best! The partnership of the teachers and the multiage classrooms are two of its principle strengths, but there are so many. Please keep the program going for my children and others.

The PALS program is a unique and innovative way elementary students. Both in that younger students have increased learning support from the older ones and that the older students have an early opportunity to cement their knowledge by helping younger students with their work.
