Strongly opposed to this bridge and ANY bridging in Palmetto Bay. Elected officials at all levels must focus on rail, bus, major existing thoroughfare improvements along with traffic circles on existing major corners.

Should not destroy existing neighborhood because county cannot manage its grow. It would only give you a few blocks anyway. Very short sighted. We vote too

This is a terrible idea that will NOT solve our traffic problems, but rather turn a quiet Palmetto Bay neighborhood into thruway! Shame on all of you! There must be a better way to spend all this $ than a bridge to problems and trouble!

That 87th Ave bridge is a bad idea. Address the root of the issue and improve existing roadways (synchronized lights, traffic police, etc).

Do Not Build the 87 Avenue bridge. It is going to have a negative impact on our home and our neighborhood. Cars should not be taking shortcuts through the neighborhoods! DO NOT BUILD!!!

The commissioners should be focused on long term traffic solutions such as better public transport. This bridge would be a band aid on a wound that continues to fester and grow.

Elected officials should concentrate on bringing integrated public transportation to South Dade rather than wasting money on an expensive quick fix bridge that appears to be politically motivated and sadly won't fix anything. The County failed to fulfill a 2002 promise to bring rail to South Dade and now, nearly a decade later, that inaction has resulted in untenable traffic conditions.

We already have traffic issues every day with drivers speeding through our neighborhood streets opening 87th Avenue will further increase the problems on our streets. As it is people bomb up and down 87th Avenue
