We the undersigned request that the O.E.K. craft a labor law aimed at protecting pregnant women in the workforce by preventing employers, including private businesses, state, and the federal government, from discriminating on the basis of pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions. The bill should offer equal opportunities and protection for pregnant women during the hiring process, during their employment term, and after child-birth by requiring employers with 5 or more employees to include maternity leave.

it is about time! women shouldnt have to choose between their job and having a baby. this is long overdue in palau.
Common sense. Stop punishing women for starting families.
i lost my job last year because i was expecting. no one should have to go through that feeling of being abandoned by their employer.
Need to protect our mothers!! please get this passed asap.
Ridiculous that this isnt already a law here. My wife went through so much stress because her boss just didnt care.

thank you for doing this. working while pregnant is hard enough without worrying about losing your paycheck.
