Pakistan Must Withdraw Nobel Peace Prize Nomination for Trump — Say NO to the Abraham Accords
Donald Trump should be held accountable — not honored.
Yet, shockingly, Pakistan’s government has nominated Donald J. Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. This is the same man who greenlit the genocide in Gaza, armed Israel to the teeth, moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, defunded UNRWA, legitimized illegal settlements, and gave Netanyahu a green light for endless war crimes. Under his leadership, not only were Palestinian lives devalued on the global stage, but deadly digital tools were also deployed — such as the Gaza ID system, which tracks, isolates, and targets Palestinians with precision, pushing them slowly but deliberately toward open-air prisons and modern-day concentration camps.
At the same time, whispers grow from the highest levels of our government about Pakistan’s possible entry into the Abraham Accords — the very agreement that bought the silence of Arab regimes while Israel turned Gaza into rubble, bombed hospitals, and used starvation as a method of warfare against innocent civilians. It is the same deal that handed political cover to Israel’s crimes, allowing it to carry out atrocities without consequence, while the world turned away.
This cannot and must not happen in our name. It is a betrayal — not only of Quaid-e-Azam’s resolute stance against the Zionist occupation of Palestine and his vision of a just, principled foreign policy — but of our responsibilities as Muslims. Our faith demands that we stand with the oppressed, not the oppressors. It demands that we speak truth to power, and never normalize the bloodshed of innocent people, especially when they are our Palestinian brothers and sisters.
If Pakistan stands for justice, dignity, and the values it claims to uphold, it cannot reward a man whose hands are stained with the blood of Palestinians. To honor him is to dishonor the martyrs of Gaza. To consider joining the Abraham Accords is to erase decades of Pakistan’s principled position and to give in to the politics of betrayal.
