A new Paediatric Palliative centre of Excellence for Cape Town

This is truly a good cause, and the proximity to Red Cross is very ideal.

A very great need in our Province and in our country. Please release this building for this important purpose.

Essential service. Specialist emergency physician - Mitchells Plain District Hospital

This is urgent and long overdue. My grnadchild died at home which was traumatic for the family but we didnt want her to die in a cold clinical hospital room. Hospitals are geared towards healing and curing not death.

Such a worthwhile cause- hospitals are no place for the terminal who require a more serene, slow paced, peaceful environment, where their pain can be managed. Also families may need some 'relief' from the 24hr care a terminal patient requires, not only physically, but emotionally too.

This is an urgent need!

Having had a terminally ill child in the family we now just how important paediatric pallative facilities are and the tragic dirth of them in Cape Town It's heart breaking for parents not to have support and even more shocking for the patient child not to have a caring and kind soft safe spot to be nursed and treasured.

An absolute necessity! A wonderful building and garden to house this imperative and desperately needed facility.

This building is most needed and urgently, too, to create a Paediatric Palliative Care Centre if excellence asap. The vision, determination and skill are fed by the enormous open hearts of the professionals involved. I add my support in whatever way to this project. Most sincerely, Carol Swanepoel

Children are our most vulnerable. Not one should be allowed to die.

This is a badly needed resource.

to see the figures or how few children can receive palliative care is distressing but eye opening. I hope this initiative is by Dr Meiring brings the care to these vulnerable children they so deeply deserve.

I think this should really be given to a great cause as a Hospice for Paedspal as they do amazing work and I can vouch for as I'm involved with Paedspal and one of their patients. Hospice care is important and vital, so let's all make a change in this World and do some good. The kids and all their patients need it.

Well done
