Pads and tampons should be required in school bathrooms (including the male bathrooms for trans students) for the comfortability of students. Not all students have access to pads and tampons/could have forgotten extras and are in need. This is a personal hygiene standard and could be treated the same as washing your hands. People on their periods do not want to feel gross or out of place due to a lack of a pad or tampon, simply bleeding with no way to catch the flow. I personally spent over an hour trying to find one as i had bled through mine and had forgotten my bag of them at home, it really negatively impacted my learning as i was unable to attend class or even leave the bathroom during that time therefore please sign this petition if you go to MHS to help us who have to deal with periods.
