We would like the Pacifica Police Department to notify residents living in the proximity of a dangerous situation in a timely fashion using a robocall or robotext system. It seems logical that if a school is in lockdown because it is in proximity to a dangerous situation, then the residents of that area should also be notified. All community colleges in the area have such systems, and the city of Pacifica has notified residents using a robocall system in the distant past when there were San Bruno jail escapes. Please consider this request because it will reach more people in a faster manner than do press releases that most people don't see.

No one ever said "please don't give me information that can help my family and neighbors."

This, among many other services that ARE not being provided by The Pacifica Police Department needs to be addressed in a timely manner. I can always be reached 24/7 @ 650.255.2865. I respond to phone calls only, not to impersonal emails, Thank you. Respectfully, Guy Crims, Pacifica resident for 46 years.

We need more communication between the police and community.
