On Friday, January 6, 2012, there were two tragic hit and run deaths along Oxon Hill Road. With the increased pedestrian foot traffic along with more cars and drivers speeding along this road there will likely be more. Please sign this petition to add pedestrian walk ways over Oxon Hill Road. Two strategically placed raised walkways and re-educating the public on pedestrian safety will hopefully make Oxon Hill Road much safer. Please sign the petition which will be submitted to County Executive Rushern Baker, Congresswoman Donna Edwards, Governor O'Malley and highway officials.
