Students see sport as the perfect release away from the books and studying which in fact helps focus the mind in order to study more effectively. Sport also can instill and develop teamwork, discipline, respect, time management and commitment, all things that will aid the student during uni and in later life.

As a former brookes student I loved playing sports on wednesday afternoon but organising the teams became a logistical nightmare when players could get the bus because of lectures in the morning.

I'm Hockey captain, many players selected struggle to play every Wednesday due to lectures and seminars
