The parade is always looked forward to whether it be for sports floats or grade floats, by not doing the parade the younger generations do not get to experience the thrill and excitement of parade day! Reconsider

This is my family’s first year back in booneville after living in manchester for over ten years. My kids were looking forward to the fair parade, so I hope this tradition can continue because it was fun for the kids.

First I have heard of this. WHY??? Who's bright idea was this??? The kids, teachers, businesses and the community enjoys it so much! It should remain. I have 5 grandchildren in the school system at Owsley and they all look forward to being in the parade!! STOP BEING IDIOTS!!!!

Bring it back. It’s not gonna hurt the county or the city to have the parade it’s always been a tradition and the Christmas parade needs to continue to be a tradition! Quit being sour people and let the community and kids have fun.

I’m a senior in high school. My senior class has won 1st place for two years now. We planed on making it three. This isn’t fair to us we have waited for way to long for us not to get to do it. Please reconsider.

The school kids always loved the parade whenever I was there. That's what everyone looked forward too. I think they need to keep the parade and the Christmas parade too. I think everyone loves it.

This has been a tradition since I was in school and always enjoyed it. It would be so nice for teachers to be as involved with it as the Xmas parade and help decorate the floats. The kids enjoy this and it's away to showcase every one in school.
