TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF FRANKLIN COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE Please seek input from Owner-Members for our Cooperative’s Future Direction as you determine the qualifications for our new General Manager. It has come to our attention that Management of our Cooperative has been in discussions with the Town of Greenfield and others to identify a new building for our cooperative without mentioning a possible move to us, the Owner-Members, at the annual meeting or in our newsletter. We only now know about this because of an accidental article in the Greenfield Recorder. Before the Board hires another General Manager charged with expanding our Cooperative, we ask the Board consult with Members to see what direction we want you to be taking our Cooperative in the future. We ask that our Board operate in a democratic and transparent manner, educating us about why a move is being considered, discussing the options before us, and providing us with a variety of avenues for Member participation in this important decision.
