With this passing my boys will not be able to go hunting by them selfs. Also will put a damper on the high schools that have skeet shooting teams! Not to mention it is just plain infringement on our 2nd amendment....
Not only is this very poorly written law, it clearly infringes on lawful gun owners 2nd Amendment Rights. All people heard on this proposed law was "close gunshow loophole" but the numerous and infringements on our gun rights were not clearly stated. Big money(Bloomberg) bought this one and it needs overturned now!
this is taxiation of our right to bear arms. they think this is a way to make state revenue by taxing all firearms transfers seattle politicians must need more eastern wa. money
More restrictive laws FOR law abiding citizens is not the answer and makes us LESS safe. Look at Wash. DC and Chicago as examples. And, the criminals will still not be restrained from obtaining a gun.
This initiative does not adequately cover all situations and makes it possible for Law Enforcement Officials to villify citizens if they choose. It makes it impossible for a gunsmith to work on your weapon without you present, and severely overburdens local LEO with more paperwork. People with legally acquired guns aren't killing people with guns.
Obama and his Liberal, INTOLERANT machine wants to weaken this country so much that we fall to lesser nations. He supports a Muslim wave of power while crushing the rights of Christian Americans. Taking our 2nd amendment rights and confiscation of guns is what he's praying Allah for. He'd love nothing more than to have freedom loving strong minded individuals turned into mindless sheep for his dictator led subjects. GET ON BOARD PEOPLE! TIME SAVE OURSELVES!

The definition of "transfer" is ridiculously and unnecessarily broad. It criminalizes commonplace activities like letting someone you know and trust shoot your gun at the range.
