Overtime Utilized for "Rdays"

We, the undersigned, are requesting a universal system across all three (A, B, C) shifts when utilizing overtime to fill "Rday" vacanies. Specifically, we are requesting when overtime is to be used to fill the "Rday" vacanies, the firefighter which has been assigned the "Rday" to be filled shall be given first opportunity to work their assigned "Rday" before utilizing the overtime call box. This will aide in the lowering of overtime costs the the Department, keep crew continuity, have a more equitable distribution of overtime to each firefighter, and being cognizant of preventing fatigue of the firefighter.
