It used to be free. I can understand maybe 25 dollars for a whole year, but every semester is a bit ridiculous. Plus they won't let you use your financial aid to pay for it.

Public place. Public parking. We pay enough for college, shouldn't have to pay for parking, too.

To make matters worse I have to buy a pass for different vehicles, or risk getting a ticket if I don't move the pass from 1 vehicle to another. Then the pass office has not had passes for weeks, so I keep having to go back to try to get a pass. This is a waste of time I have to spend in line to get a second or third temporary pass while I wait to try to get a semester pass. It's an expensive and extremely difficult process. And it will prevent me from continuing here after this year.

I think they should have kept the one time $25 and maybe a couple of dollars or so a semester to recharter!

I feel there are other, more important items this money can be used for like the books that are already expensive and tuition.

It was $50 last semester just to pay for the mandatory NEW student ID AND mandatory NEW parking hanger, which you are NOT allowed to switch between cars. I would understand if I heard why we are having to pay these NEWLY enforced fees, like money for renovations or payment for parking lot extensions. That is $25 and for at LEAST 1,000 students per semester, that is $25,000, or $75,000 per year. In the time it takes those 1,000 students to obtain a 2 year degree, it would be $150,000 for the school on parking passes alone which they were not making before. It's not much on a budget plan, but that is an extra $400 for me until I graduate, which is more than a 4-credit hour class.

I had no problem paying the 1 time fee for the sticker, but paying $25 a semester when Im already paying out of pocket for classes because financial aid screwed me over, not to mention having to commute to main campus where there isnt even enough parking... Its ridiculous! I would honestly be fine with once a year, but not this "per semester" crap!

I probably wouldn't blink if it were a smaller set price for the year. It was a bit much going from a one time sticker to $25 a semester just to park at classes I'm already paying for...

There isn't even enough student parking at the FWB campus where I take all my classes. I shouldn't have to pay $25 a denser to park in the grass.
