Over the past few decades research has found that the mount of fish in the sea are declining. Overfishing is starting to become a serious problem all around the world. Not only is overfishing lowering the number of fish in the sea, it is also changing the aquatic food chain. " Approximately 90% of fish stocks of large predatory fish are already gone, as overfishing has disproportionately targeted the largest fish at the top of the food chain". It is also predicted that in the future fish will be extinct as an effect of overfishing, which means that fish will not be included in your diet.

To help protect these fish and other aquatic life more protection laws and regulations should be put in place. By putting these laws in place it will allow for us to make a stricter focus on replenishing the amounts of fish. Establishing more protected areas will also it would help save some of the beautiful natural habitats that these fish live in. Also making regulations on the amount of fish and and how large of ships will help reduce the amounts of fish being taken.
Please help save our aquatic life from becoming extinct. Remember, what will you do when all the fish are gone?
