Eastern Cape is the most poverty stricken area. Most people have mo jobs but our government has no empathy to its citizens. This is cruelty at its best no regard for wellbeing of the people.

We at NU9 Mdantsane continue to have our elrctricity cut off due to the bursting of the elrctricity power transmissions.The illegal settlements near our households connect illegally onto our electricity poles and overload our electricity transmission.We have to ask them to remove the illegal wires cause the municipality will not come to help us unless that’s done.We pay our municipality rates and taxes and buy our own electricity but because of the illegal connections by the illegal settlements we are always struggling with power cuts.
