WE just cannot afgord these ridiculous amounts of electricity and this is unfair and cruel and we do not need this innecessary stress when we are already stressed by the current pandemic and its stings on us

I also do not understand the municipal billing, ever since i bought the house no one came for meter reading. The inquiry side is always closed and only open cashiers for payments. Im blocked from purchasing electricity

BCM Rates as well are ridiculous, most residents only notice meter reading that is not being taken. But if you look at your statement, the value of your property has been doubled. If it was 500 000, now it rated at the value of 1 million, that's two bedroom house. No one came to evaluate the house!!

BCMM need to also explain to us why we have some of the most expensive electricity in the country.
We know water meter readings don’t happen as many meter readers lost their jobs a few years back, and now the readings are thumb-sucked. It’s just criminal.

All existing bills should be scratched. Municipality should stop taking meterreadings alone. The consumer should be present and a reconciliation records should be maintained by both consumers and meter readers
