I was charged R16 000 for water in August 2020 and eversince then I have huge Bill's of water and I can't seem to finish to paymy account because it is huge every month.

We are ripped off by BCMM. They charge us exorbitant amounts. Every month you make a payment, the amount escalates. As for water and electricity, they overcharge us. This is a day light robbery. We work hard for our salaries. We are not stealing the money / salaries, we have sweated for it as such we cannot allow corrupt people to victimise us. Where does money they overcharge us go to? East London is filthy, filled with potholes and stinking dumpsite and the grass on the main roades is long!!!!! They must provide us with the breakdown on how they are spending our money. We want transparency as there aren't any visible results.

It is sad to note that electricity at BCM is very expensive compared to big metropolitan municipalities.BCM is serving people from very poor economic backgrounds ,the leaders are supposed to take that into consideration when thinking about increasing tariffs
This situation is aggravated by poor service delivery.Ai khona,inkohlakalo enje!!!
