there is overcharge not only with electricity but water. Accounts are ridiculously high.

I am a victim also, every 15th of every month I take a photo of my meter and send it to the e-mail given by the Municipality, but to my surprise my bill is more with R500 now, from R980 or less I used to pay monthly when I bought my flat. You guys just bill us as you wish, without the bill I sent to you monthly. I need an investigation on this and refund me my money. It's like I'm staying with 5 people at my place, we only two.
This is not on BCM, we work hard for us to have money, you can't do as you wish and bill us as you like. We all deserve better than this. Are you need a review about the expensive electricity that you selling in our Municipality, when buying for R100, you take R30 and give me R70 electricity and I am not blocked nor owing the Municipality the rates money, my account is up to date. Why your electricity is so expensive than other municipalities, this must end and its rediculous. Why are you so greedy in this Municipality. R200 it's nothing here when buying electricity, in Nelson Mandela Bay people are paying lesser for the electricity than BCM, why is that? What are we paying for?

I as residents of southernwood ward 3 we suffering from the bills given to us by B.C.M and its ridiculous amount tht is not normal and being overcharged, there was no meter reading taken since lockdown. I'm pleading with you to cut the costs as I'm not working and not using much water, I'm so cautious about water and it's quality. Thank you

I can attest to this for December 2020 only
We paid R1500 , 4 times the amount we usually pay to BCM, towards water only( We paid R4000 towards Municipality charges)
We are crying for help, this is seriously bad
