I support the petition as this so unfair to our ailing parents and unemployed brothers and sisters to have their electricity cut and expected to pay huge amounts that the mucipality knows they can never afford.

we are fed-up with this government, how can they expect us to stay at home safe, while in the dark. Most probably they want us dead. They did not even do metre readings during lock but now the bills have tripled from March statement.

Since February 2020 I complained about my account till today I never get feedback or my account being sorted and meter numbers are different from the station and the one at municipality office

Lack of communication,3 times increases in water bills,arbitrary direct deductions when buying electricity,they deduct up to 95% like buying electricity with R500 and they deduct R450 and give u R50 electricity

BCMM was not all ready to be in status of being Metropolitan municipality, hence we don't have services that rate payers should get, Roads are not in good state, no clean water, no grass cutting, garbage disposal bags, no metre readings, towns are dirty East London and King William's even IDP's are not done properly because Mayor and councillors are always having hidden Agenda, Bisho head office of EC is Ghost City's most non serviced town in the entire province , not even shopping centres. Nothing that make us happy and excited as tax payerse of BCMM, with a Rude Mayor who is selfish and not even care about people's voted for him.
