As a 7 year survivor, I can attest to the fact that "MORE AWARENESS IS NEEDED".... The more this silent killer is talked about, the more attention it will get. Lets get the word out. This is a horrible disease to battle and most of the time, it is found in the later stages. I am thankful to be here. Fight the Fight

My Mother was just diagnosed at stage 4, she is going to be a survivor. It was missed by different doctors for 9 months. Inexcusable! We must do more to inform middle age women! For my Mom Terre.

In loving memory of my dear friend Lori. Lori was full of life and love and died much too soon at the age of 52 of Ovarian Cancer. She left behind family and friends who will be forever scarred because of this horrible disease. Awareness and education are critical to beat this disease. Please help by taking steps to awareness and saving lives by making this stamp.

I just lost my very dear friend to this horrific disease. Her sister Jo is keeping a promise to her late sister Lori to do what she can to bring attention to this cause and I and others contacted will do all we can to bring awareness to the fore front. Not only do we as women need to become more educated but some in the Medical field need to become more attuned to the symptoms of the patients they are coming in contact with. Our mothers, sisters, wives, aunts, nieces and friends are losing this battle because of missed diagnoses. May God in His goodness bless this and causes like it. I pray that His loving arms are holding Lori close.

My sister just passed from Ovarian Cancer at age 52 and she had just been to the Dr who found nothing wrong with her until it was too late. More needs to be done to make people aware of how deadly this disease is when detected too late and more needs to be done to detect it earlier so every woman who may get ovarian cancer can live a long, healty life. Think of all the people who would know more if a postage stamp made them become even a little more aware and want to find out more about it. It just may save a life. Hopefully, thousands.
