Ovarian cancer awareness is crucial because it lacks a standard early-detection screening test and presents vague symptoms that are often misdiagnosed. As a result, most patients are diagnosed at an advanced stage. Education plays a vital role in saving lives by helping individuals recognize subtle warning signs and advocating for specialized care.

Break the Silence! This stamp will help raise awareness of the 'whispering disease' that is usually not found until the late stages. If found in the early stages, there is a much better chance of survival. But since there is no reliable screening test, most women are diagnosed in the later stages. We need to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer so more women will be diagnosed in the EARLY stages rather than in the late stages of the disease!

It just happens to you, when you find out you are in stage 4 terminal at that you are fighting to stay alive for one more day. Most women die from the cancer because there is no test for diagnosis until it has spreaded all over and it is too late.

Fight for a cure
My beautiful 35 year old niece passed away from OC 4 months ago. We need to find a cure and now. With a percentage of proceeds going toward NOCC, there is hope for a cure.
I am a 10-year ovarian cancer survivor -- one of the lucky ones. My diagnosis was a fluke; I had no noticeable symptoms when the cancer had already begun to metastasize. More awareness of this killer is crucial.
I'm a 15 year Survivor of Ovarian Cancer and it would be awesome to finally have a stamp for Ovarian Cancer! Everything is always pink, but there is a lot more Cancers in this world other than Breast Cancer. Please give us a stamp!!!
Prostate and breast cancer awareness stamp exist already. Let's create the rest types of cancer as well!
My wife succumbed to ovarian cancer, after beating breast cancer earlier in her life. Our daughter has had breast cancer & has had preventive gynecologic surgery to avoid her mother's fate. This is a disease that needs more attention... please approve this campaign's request.
My mother died of ovarian cancer at age 57 in 1979. Not enough women know about this cancer and its symptoms. Please put out a stamp.
I am a 15 year ovarian cancer survivor so this stamp is a way to bring awareness of this silent killer!!
Yes! This is a great way to get awareness out there.
The issuance of a postage stamp would greatly increase the exposure needed to fight this silent killer that takes too many women before their time. My mother was 47 when she was taken from me as a 7-year-old.
im fighting for my Mom... stage 3 platiniume resistance
Someone I love has ovarian cancer...I think that a stamp is bringing more awareness to this disease and these fighters deserve to be honored in such a way as this...there are pink ribbons everywhere...allow there to be real as,well.
Ovarian cancer survivor
as a 6 year ovarian cancer survivor I would like to see this happen, as we're always taking a back seat to Breast cancer & their pink. Ovarian Cancer is the silent killer without any screen tools or devices, we need or awarreness.
It should cost more than a .49 stamp like the breast cancer stamp, so the extra proceeds goes to the research for a cure. And it's a pretty stamp.
i am a survivor
Lost a sister-in-law and good friend to ovarian cancer - they didn't recognise the symptoms as they were quite obscure!
My sister who passed away from Ovarian Cancer had no idea she had it until she went to the doctor and found out she was in a late stage. She passed after a difficult 7 year struggle. Those 7 years made possible thru the great care of Sloan Kettering Hospital
My daughter has ovarian cancer and I was looking for stamps to put on thank you cards.

We need to use each and every opportunity to educate others about this ugly disease. This is a great way to do so. Agreed that we need it to be a premium stamp with additional money directed toward research efforts.
Definitely a must do.
God protect Regina
Thank you for your consideration.
We must fight against this cancer so that our daughters will be free from such a disease.
I'm doing this in honor of my own fight with ovarian cancer and for my daughters so hopefully they won't have to fight
I'm signing this petition in loving memory and honor of Mary Ellen Brace. We must raise awareness and insist that n early detection test is made a priority!
it would be a great help for many.
So young, to soon;find a cure.
IN HONOR MARYELLEN
GFWC-GA member, we support this cause

My 35 yr old daughter has been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer
For my sister!!
Sister has disease.
Please help bring awareness to this underfunded, highly deadly cancer. Lack of public awareness and education is if critical concern. Thank you.
Signing for my cousin !
I also have ovation cancer and agree with everything written. Would LOVE to see a stamp.
In 2003 I wrote a letter to President Bush about my mother dying from Ovarian Cancer. He sent me a signed letter proclaiming September 2002 National Ovarian Cancer Awareness month. I have been trying to get a stamp put out to help raise money for years and no luck. I can also be reached at 484-401-2471
I have ovarian cancer and am committed to being a voice.
Awareness will help others!
I have been recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. More research should been dedicated to curing this disease.
For my precious daughter, and all women.
It's past time to approve this stamp; please :)
Yes to a stamp to support Ovarian Cancer.
I lost my mother in 2015 to ovarian cancer. I have never seen anyone suffer like she did.Mom fought so hard to live. The only time she gave up was when her doctors told her. There's nothing else they can do.Mom turned 68-year-old two weeks later she died. Some birthday gift. She was a mother grandmother great grandmother. She had so much to live for but was robbed by this disease.
We need to do so much more to raise awareness about this dreadful disease that takes way too many lives.
I was diagnosed in 2015. After surgery and chemo was in remission until this month 5/2017- I am waiting on decision from my gyn/oncologist on how they will treat this recurrence treated this time around. More money needs to go toward research for Ovarian Cancer.
Ovarian Cancer Awareness is vital to saving lives. Women need to know. Seeing a stamp might spur someone to read about it.
I'm a Survior I was very fortunate my Ovarian Cancer was diagnosed early .
There needs to be more awareness for this dreaded disease. A US Postage Stamp would help.
In memory of my cousin Kathy matera.
This stamp will help increase ovarian cancer awareness. Please approve to honor all those who have lost their battle.
I would like to see an Ovarian Stamp to help raise awareness for this deadly disease.
I am a survivor by the mercy of God
I am one of the fortunate survivors because it was caught early!
I believe that an ovarian cancer awareness postage stamp would really spread the word. I was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer Aug 2017. I am still fighting. Had I known the symptoms before I would have seen gynecologist a lot sooner.
Think if stamp is approved will help to soread awareness of this disease
I’ve been Battling OC Stage 3c since 2013. This would be a great advantage for the OC community. It opens a Platform for discussion to help spread awareness and educate ALL!
I support this as my sister is a survivor from Ovarian Cancer.
Minford normal checkup December 20th 2017 Mass had surgery and result stage 3 ovarian cancer taking chemo now two more to go.
Needed more than Breast cancer awareness becasue Ovarian cancer has no obvious symptoms to have an early diagnosis.
I'm a 5 year survivor and this is a great idea for awareness!
I have ovarian cancer
I am currently fighting this disease. I had no idea of the symptoms before I was diagnosed. Let's raise awareness and fight for a cure!

I am an Ovarian Cancer survivor and we need more awareness
My sister lost her life to this insidious disease last year. More women must be made aware of this deadliest form of gynecological cancers to save more lives.
Please produce an Ovarian Cancer stamp
This awareness is greatly needed.
I’m an ovarian cancer warrior and would love to see more awareness devoted to our cause.
We need this stamp!
Anything that brings awareness is appreciated! We are fighting so hard.
Please help bring awareness to Ovarian Cancer. It cannot be detected during routine exams. It kills because of this. It is diagnosed mostly at late stages, where treatment is less likely to work.
Knowledge is life!
This is going to be my fourth year fighting this disease. Average survival is five years.
I am an Ovarian cancer survivor. Awareness is key!
It is so important to build awareness of this terrible disease!!
Please for me and my teal sisters
2 year survivor
Please, for my mother. She is the strongest woman I know. Second remition from ovarian cancer as of now, but the fear of return is never far from my mind. It could have been found sooner had we had any idea of the symptoms. Please approve this, for all the women you love in life.
Please approve this stamp
Sign in memory of my sister.
I am an ovarian survivor! This would be amazing!!
Awareness about this silent killer.
I loss my sister at the age of 28 due to Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. I support this movement 100 %!!
Would love for them to put out a stamp for Ovarian Cancer.
My sister is valiantly battling ovarian cancer right now. More needs to be done to cure this disease or even better diagnose it early enough to stop it in its tracks.
Please help us stop this #SilentKiller among women.
Fund research and awareness!
This is important. Too many women have been lost too young.
As a survivor and in honor of my dear friend Lisa
Ov ca is a subtle disease with NO early detection test. An ovarian cancer stamp would go a long way to increasing awareness which is the first step to an early diagnosis. Jane, President, Turn TheTowns Teal
Hope this will bring a smile to all those struggling with this disease.
The word needs get out about ovarian cancer. I'm 2 years and 4 months into remission.
Would have it no other way. Get er done!
Survivor ovarian cancer. Stage lllc.
I am an almost 8 year survivor. PLEASE approve this stamp. We need to spread more awareness!
Thank you!
Most women are diagnosed with late stage Ovarian Cancer because the symptoms are so subtle. Let's get this stamp out to our public to bring awareness to Ovarian Cancer. When more women are educated about what to look for, Ovarian Cancer can be discovered earlier and lives can be saved, lives can be lengthened. I am late stage.
Please
Ovarian Cancer Survivor!!!!!
This is a very important cause / awareness
Please sign, for someone very dear to me.
Let's make people aware..
Awareness is vital!
I’ve had Ovarian Cancer back in 2008 and we all deserve this stamp!
Diagnosed with Ovarian cancer August 2018. My older sister, Stage 4- deceased 2014 Ovarian cancer.
Please give us survivors the same as breast cancer, a stamp of our own.
time is precious.

My good friend is a 30 year survivor!!!
My 25-year-old daughter passed away November 11, 2018 from stage III see low-grade ovarian cancer I think a stamp is a great way to collaborate the battle that these brave and courageous women fight.
We need to bring awareness to ovarian cancer. Breast cancer has a stamp yet the survival rate is lower for ovarian cancer.
A terrible disease ❤️
Let's get this done! I'm a 15 year ovarian cancer SURVIVOR
As a Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer Survivor, I can attest to how important awareness is for every women.

AWARENESS SAVES LIVES
GREAT idea
As an ovarian cancer survivor, I want to help bring awareness for this “silent killer.”
Awareness save lives!
No time to be wasted, ending the cruel reign of ovarian cancer in our world!
A postage stamp would raise awareness and our uninformed society needs awareness on this life or death cause for women. Brian Palmquist
Ovarian cancer needs more Awareness
This is a crucial campaign. We need to help make people aware of ovarian cancer.
I have lost a sister and more friends than I care to count to this awful disease. We have to raise awareness and a stamp would greatly help.
I am 100% into helping make this happen
I have been fighting this cancer for almost 7 years..
As a survivor, I’d love to see this become a reality!
Please help the woman who seldom live. In memory of Kalee forever 19.

We need more women to know about this potentially deadly disease.
Survivor 3x
Ovarian Cancer Awareness stamp
I am a survivor! Stage 3a2. I fought for my family and friends. But the side effects from treatment still linger- and cancer still haunts you. It would be nice to raise awareness for OC. Many other ribbon colors are almost overused or used to sell something.
We need a cure!
We need this stamp to help spread awareness for Ovarian Cancer.
In memory of my sister who died from recurrent ovarian cancer.
In memory of my mom, Katherine

Our family has been forever effected by this forgotten cancer Please help get awareness out to save lifes
My mom was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2011 and less than a year later she was gone. Ovarian Cancer is the silent killer, even though there are symptoms they are symptoms women deal with quite regularly with or without Ovarian Cancer. I would love to see more time and research go into this horrible disease. I miss my mom terribly everyday and I would love to know that more is being done to save these women. For one daughter not to have to bury her mother would make it all worth it.
Please support this measure regarding this horrible disease
This cancer is a silent killer, over 22,000 women will be diagnosed this year and 70% of these women will die. Please consider adding a postage stamp for Ovarian Cancer Awareness.

Yes Please make this possible. Ovarian Cancer is a silent killer. There is no test to detect this cancer. People need to be more aware. It just happens to you, when you find out you are in stage 4 terminal at that you are fighting to stay alive for one more day. Most women die from the cancer because there is no test for diagnosis until it has spreaded all over and it is too late.

I was diagnosed Stage 4. I didn't know the symptoms. Doctors are not totally aware of symptoms either and need educated. My cancer slipped past a couple of doctors until it was stage 4 and I found it myself in my lymph nodes.
