Let us propose to outlaw all harmful detergents, fertilizers, pesticides and other harmful contaminants. This will force the corporations to use research and development to develop safe products to the market. When something is regulated and outlawed, most for-profit entities learn to adapt by developing a new lawful solution. It is past time to stop the polluting of our planet and it is now time to take some real steps toward forcing us all to leave a much lighter footprint in our world. The research has already been done. We see the harmful effects of chemicals, plastics and polluted storm water run-off. It is time to act on our knowledge.
