I live in and play hockey in Garden City KS. If a rink was built in Lamar, we would come to events held there to play hockey.

As a kid, we used to play street hockey all the time. Often times we would go to the skatepark just north of the swimming pool and there would be pick up games going on. Let’s get hockey back in Lamar!

The growing community and surrounding area NEEDS positive, and interactive options. Not only for children but for the adults as well! This rink could have endless possibilities and and a great potential to bring life to the small nothing town we have. I really hope Lamar opens up to new opportunities.
