We, the undersigned residents of Southeast Colorado kindly request that the Director of Lamar Recreation Department include in the Master Plan to be submitted in February 2024 a proposal to build an outdoor inline hockey rink for both youth and adult recreation in Lamar. There are currently no hockey facilities of any type along US Highway 50 between Garden City and Pueblo. This would provide both Lamar and surrounding communities with yet another opportunity to engage in an additional sport that promotes physical fitness and community engagement.
