We, the signatories of this petition, are residents or non-resident property owners at The Plaza Condominiums at 301 Fayetteville Street, Raleigh, North Carolina 27601 which is in the Fayetteville Street District. We are petitioning city officials to maintain the Fayetteville Street District as a district which does not allow Outdoor Amplified Entertainment (OAE) except for special use permitted by the city. We make this request based on our experience in the neighborhood and belief that allowing OAE in our district will detract from our ability to attract more diverse retail or create and maintain a safe, healthy, and livable downtown community.
