For the sake of retention, it is important that the #1 hospital in NY and #6 hospital in the country offer competitive salaries and wages. We should not be #1 on the list of lowest paid staff as well. We should also stay vigilant about the wage increases for other locations moving forward.

As the #1 hospital in NY and #6 in the entire US, our salaries should reflect this as well. We definitely deserve a pay increase.

This increase is more than overdue. The staff here works way above and beyond to make sure the patients interests are really placed first in ways the our Administration aren't even aware of.
