Mr. President, Give Our Soldiers What They Need
The Grim assessment is contained in a 66 age report that the commander, General Stanley A. McChrystal, submitted to Defense Secretary Robert M Gates on August 30, and which is now under review by President Obama and his top national security advisers. McChrystal warns in the confidential assessment of the war that he needs additional troops or else the conflict will likely result in failure. Violence is at its highest levels of the war as the resurgant Taliban take over more of the country. Since Obama took office, 197 U.S. service members have been killed in Afghanistan. August 2009, became the deadliest year of the nearly eight year war for American Troops. Mr. President Waiting is just as destructive as 10 car bombs. Please give our soldiers what they need or BRING THEM HOME.
