We strongly believe that the government must consult pupils on education policy in the UK. We believe that the best way to do this is through the Youth Parliament voting alongside Parliament on all education policy bills. As the GCSE grades changed earlier this year, as pupils we had no opportunity to give our opinion when it affects us most! We believe it will have a positive impact on:

• Pupils valuing their education as they will have a say on policy
• The importance and reputation of the Youth Parliament
• Pupils knowing their democratic rights to have our voices heard
• A new generation of young people ready to vote and make a positive change

We are hoping that our petition will reach Parliament and be debated in the House of Commons. To achieve this, we are trying to gather as many signatures as possible as we need 100,000 signatures to get it debated. To help us please share this hashtag all over the social media community.
