Is the Nisga'a Lisims Government really strapped for cash? How is it that persons who helped themselves and squandered Nisga'a Nation moneys are still in Government as a representative or an employee? All the moneys received are Nisga'a Nation moneys. To this day we do not have a Nisga'a Nation audited financial statement as per the Nisga'a Nation Financial Administration Act - we get the Nisga'a Lisims Government audited financial statement so we don't really know how well our "Mighty" Nisga'a Nation is doing. I haven’t seen who voted yes and who voted no – there has been no explanation why WSN rubber stamped the "sacred burial grounds destruction acts" effectively disregarding our culture and legacy, etc. all in one day. Our “Treaty” is nothing more than the “Old Treaties.” Old Treaties that were ignored and broken by the people in power in the past – today – it is our own leaders that are doing it to us with our own land and our own money. I have yet to find who is overlooking the Nisga’a Lisims Government following all the legislations which the Nisga’a Nation spent millions developing. Was that Nisga’a Lisims Government law prohibiting removal of lava rock that I so adamantly adhered to removed.

Our Nisga'a ancestors are buried under those lava beds. That's why it is a memorial park. It's a buriel ground! And with no consultation or opportunity to vote on whether we Nisga'a are willing to sacrifice our sacred values for a pipeline was never afforded. I sign this petition to voice my opposition to this insane, backroom dealing, money hungry, dictorship of a Nisga'a Lisims Government. SHAME ON THEM!

Economic boon... But at what cost??? Nothing is worth irreparable damage to our eco-system. Alberta will never be the same and neither will our Nass Valley if we aloow this to happen!
