growing up our family and in the feasts everyone tells us to respect our elders and our culture. I don't think this is respecting our ancestors. I think this would be a big mistake to disturb the lava beds as it is the resting place of our ancestor.

Politics fo hand in hand with corporation now. It is plain to see that our leaders have sold us and our land out with the very idea of this project. We were taught that our lava beds are sacred. I am in opposition of anymore destruction to our lands, it is intrinsic to our people's spirit. We must oppose for our survival.

The Lava Beds are sacred ground..our ancestors are buried there...Why would they even think of disturbing the graves there? I'm pretty sure any other places that this company wants to lay their pipelines would never allow their graveyards/sacred grounds to be disturbed or moved....this is wrong in so many ways.

Lava Bed Memorial Park, as a sacred burial site needs protection. How would those in the government feel if the pipeline companies changed their plans and decided to instead take land away from the cities, land which included graveyards where their ancestors were put to rest. I highly doubt anyone in government would allow such an atrocity, so where do they get off thinking they can upset the sacred burial site in the Lava Bed Park.
