It is wrong not to have an alternative to the car parking at the airport, which is overpriced compared to most other regional airports. Also, sort out access at Sydenham station - it is only a viable option if you are travelling with light luggage, as you have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs to the footbridge. Either a lift or ramp is required to make this station 'traveller friendly' .

Is type of offsite parking works very well at Dublin airport and I cannot see why it's not good for the users of GB airport. Have a monopoly on something means that they can charge what they like. And the public should be allowed to have a choice especially when it is cheaper. I think it's disgusting!!!

Are monopolies now legal? I kept being told the market is good for NI except it seems the airport owners. They are laughing now at my expense.

Really can't believe this decision to close what is a excellent small business that provides a great, cost effective parking solution. Poor decision by weak politicians that again hits the normal worker in the pocket.

Has the minister got free parking at the airport for life, of course not his driver paid by the public purse drops him off, what does he care.

Why do you need planning permission to park in a car park? Why should George Best Airport be allowed to have a monopoly on parking when International has other firms around it providing the same service Boal will? If they want to be competitive don't charge so much. If there was decent public transport then sure but we are so far behind everywhere else it's not even funny.

I always use the car park at IKEA when I fly from the City airport. They offer a great service!

never knew it was there but would be a shame to lose it, especially if it offers a cheaper alternative.

Wake up and listen to your electorate or reduce the outrageous parking fees being charged. Competition is always good.
Competition is healthy.
Not something career politians understand.

there is a clear need for this facility which I have used frequently and refusal of planning permission cannot be justified when similar car parks are allowed to operate at belfast international airport.

Boal provide(d) an excellent and valuable service. For a minister to claim that a monopoly is a good option shows just how crooked this province is.

Yet another uni-lateral decision by an out of touch Minister. An explanation of his reasoning is the very least the public desreve.

I cannot comprehend why business competition is being stifled in this way. No other car park charges the exorbitant prices of Belfast City. Take your finger out & do something useful for once in your career.
