It's a joke what's happening up there. They're turning this place into their idealistic place instead of listening to reason & the majority.

How can we not be disadvantaged? We were delighted when we found out about Boal. The powers that be need to reconsider.

So much for laissez faire, monopolies never are in the best interest of the public.

The only ones NOT disadvantaged by this ludicrous decision are; George Best Belfast City Airport and all of the members of the planning committee and the Minister who have obviously been influenced by no doubt dubious means. This is a shocking affair which should end the career of those who believe they are in touch with reality. They clearly are not.

Of course the public will be disadvantaged, city airport is scared of a wee bit of competition. Wouldn't be a bit surprised if Mark is a shareholder.

Maybe if you had to pay for parking you would realise we need competition. Does someone actually get paid for making these decisions?

When an entrepreneur spots a gap in the market and fills it with a successful and sustainable business then they should be congratulated. For a competitor to actively seek to frustrate a business by lobbying politicians to overturn a planning decision which in effect closes their competition and gifts them a monopoly is outrageous. This is an abuse of planning law - it needs changed. Boal Car Park is a top business.

Can you please explain to me how that giving the City Airport the monopoly for airport parking is good for the customer . More baffling still is the statement that the customer will not be disadvantaged. Wake up and smell the coffee!

They are so out of touch as have an expense account and a high salary. Also probably have a driver so as usual doesn't affect them.
