If Boals are forced to close the NI public will be once again forced to pay over the odds to a sole operator at George Best. Our economy needs competition to keep prices down for the man on the street and the businesses of NI.

Closing boal car park is contrary to economic development in east Belfast. Putting people out of jobs and placing high costs on parking at the airport. Disgusted!

Huge clarification needed on this; someone needs to offer a decent explanation! It currently makes no sense to shut down a business like this!

the minister once again shows how out of touch he with both the public at large and indeed the small business man. The charges levied by the City Airport are a drain on the travelling public from their hard earned wages whilst traveling on much deserved holidays, the parking can actually work out more expensive than the flight. Also in these hard economic times small businesses can't afford to subsidise the airport by paying the legalised racketeering charges. The £23/day almost equates to half a day wages for someone earning the minimum wage.

Typical of NI politics, politicians out of tune with the people and more interested in living in the past than taking a risk and giving us real politics. Our economy needs support, surely the govt should take the lead and support in whatever way possible.

I think there should be a choice for customers as city airport is too dear already and if they have the monopoly they can charge even more grossly unfair
