Maybe no need for it on his salary but Joe Public not in that luxurious position. He needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

As someone who was 'stung' many times by airport parking charges, the public are entitled to a freedom of choice as to where they want to pay to park

I always use them when I fly out of Belfast City Airport. The provide a great service for a reasonable price

How much pay back is this man getting,closeing all these car parks near airports Belfast City, Belfast international ,one wonders, how many more people this loan man and his wolfs can justify putting people out of work bet the prime minister is proud of him ,more benefits eh discrace

It's alright to be on a politicians "wage" and we taxpayers pay this and secondly we as taxpayers probably pay for their free claim back parking as part of their "expenses"

I use McCauslands at Aldergrove very time. Competition is good for the economy. If the airport isn't afraid of the competition there should be no problem

It's an absolute disgrace how much Belfast City Airport charge for parking and now, with no competition , it'll not get any better. Belfast International has many competitors and, as a result, it's prices are MUCH cheaper than the City Airport.

Regular user due to the lower prices. With Boal closed the prices will only rise.

I use this carpark as it's a lot cheaper than using the airport carpark. How come the International Airport can have alternative carparks, but the City airport can't? As I've always said, politicians are nothing but gangsters.

I think the prices charged by Belfast City Airport are scandalous. It is unfair for customers not to have choices!

Something smells like a rat - I have always parked at Boats to avoid rip off parking at the City - and if you happen to take a taxi their prices from there are a rip off too. How come competition in parking is OK for the International but not the City?

The public would be disadvantaged as George Best City Airport would have the monopoly in parking. . Have used the car park before and want it to remain in competition
