Everyone needs the option of face to face. 70% of elementary, middle and high school parents chose to have a face to face option. Parents can help with transportation issues if you ask!

Tracy Zurkowski has let the children and the parents of JOCO down. She has put her self interests and made money through her position. She is a disgrace and I hope she is exposed and charged. I will work every day to insure that.

Our children, al ages, need to go back to school. Social interaction, clubs, sports, and relationships of all kinds are just as important and the book learning. Many children will be left home alone while parents go back to work. They will be left alone all day and everyday left on their own to work through their on-line classes. Also, reality is not all teachers are good and not all teachers will meet their students beds through online learning-even the best of the best will struggle with this. We won’t know the complete impact of this anti social learning experience for years to come but some of us already see a glimpse of it. School ager depression , lack of interest, frustration, and a whole host of other issues. We need to do our best to protect ourselves and to be socially responsible but this virus is not going to go away just like the flu isn’t. I am sure if you asked the parents and their students if they are willing to commit to the guidelines that must be put in place in order to go back to school most would say YES! We need to get back to work and back to school!!!!

I appreciate all our elected officials have done in regards to public safety- but I differ with the school board on this. The kids educational and emotional needs should be met with in person classes. They canceled in person due to an "abundance of caution" which is misguided. In person is necessary.

If essential workers can go to work and have been at work since day one, teachers can go back to work. All of a sudden you don’t have enough personnel to send even pre-k thru 3rd back to school. I’m all for letting people work from home if it doesn’t effect the outcome of their job. Can you honesty tell me that teachers are having the same outcome from virtual learning as they did from in person? The only ones suffering are the students.

We need to reopen schools now with face to face teaching.
This is going to become a mental health issue even moreso for many parents, caregivers and the students.
Enough is enough and open our schools and let everyone have a choice.
