My son will be a 2021 senior and learned ZERO while distance learning. If distance learning is the plan for Fall, the district needs to step up and require teachers to utilize Teams or Zoom to actually teach, not check a box that kids have logged in. It’s scary to think about college when he isn’t learning anything in high school

School as usual please. Our child is struggling. Online learning is not sufficient.

Online didn’t work for my kids. Please consider kids that need classroom time to learn.

I have a just turned 5 year old. I know he needs the interaction with people that being in the classroom provides. This whole "only staying home" thing has been hard on him.

Having school disrupted in any form next year will cause undue financial hardship on many struggling families in our city. Children have been proven to be resilient to this virus and also are not carriers. Please listen to the scientists/epidemiologists that already proven this. At this point the lockdowns and school closures were a giant miscalculation and overreach. Thank you.

We are both essential workers who cannot work remotely, and required distance learning has been a huge burden and bad for our family's mental health. Our child needs the structure of a classroom setting.

Parent of a very social learner, where distance learning is not seeming to be very effective. I understand all the risks, but agree, the long term damage is riskier.

I was 13 in 1968 and 100,000 people died from the flu. We went to school my father went to work. There will always be viruses always have been. Are we going to close down the schools everytime A virus hits every year? Most deaths occured in the nursing homes which is tragic

our kids need normalcy and a peer learning environment. The fear hype is not worth changing to an online learning system. Go back to school!

School needs to open so family and kids have options as so many essential workers have to do what they need to do. Distance learning as an option would be great so people have choice based on their own circumstances. Currently, TotemFall is taking a minimum approach of teaching which is very disappointing!
