Our kids need a crosswalk at Ray and Balboa!!

It's time for us to stand up for the safety of our kids! The intersection at Ray Drive and Balboa is a dangerous intersection for many reasons, and it's time the City of Burlingame listened to us and put in a crosswalk across Ray Drive.
1. Cars drive way too fast on Ray Drive.
2. Many drivers don't pay attention to the families trying to cross the street.
3. There's often a jam as drivers jockey for position to get through the light at El Camino, causing unsafe walking conditions.
4. Traffic is heavy, especially when our kids are walking to school.
I will be taking the signatures from this petition and my plea to the Burlingame Public Works Department. Please feel free to leave comments to add to why we need a crosswalk!
