Isn't it SAD that Greenwich Village residents have to BEG City Officials and Mayor de Blasio to Preserve and Protect such precious Parks and Open Spaces !!

There are NYC neighborhoods that desperately need the investment from the NYU expansion -- not Greenwich Village which is too dense already.

we don't need more buildings. We do need to use space within buildings for low cost housing and we need no more deals with owners who say they run low cost housing, single room occup. or programs for rehabilitating disabled or homeless and simply charge the city(hence us) for filthy, drug and alcohol dens. YES, PLEASE KEEP OUR BEAUTIFUL PARKS AND OPEN OUTDOOR SPACES!

Justice Mills is right! We are losing all park space as a result of NYU's greed and lack of caring for our community!

We are losing the very meaning and essence of New York City to developers and high end shopping and restuarant venues. The last bastion of what NYC means in creativity, history and neighborhoods is the Village. Please do not let the money-grabbing NYU take that away. They can leave that for their campus in Dubai.

It is difficult to image that you need to remind anyone of the importance of Parks, Anywhere.
