i suggest the Mayor and all elected officials go walk on the Brooklyn Bridge and get an idea, from how crowded it is, about how very much we need ALL the open spaces we have, IF NOT MORE..Taking ANY of them AWAY seems downright insane.

As a recent letter- writer just stated in "The Villager"...the Public Trust Doctrine states that parks are for public use to benefit children and the community.

All living things NEED sunlight and space to thrive. The recent construction of extremely tall buildings is casting more & more of NYC in long shadows darkening our environment & our lives! Even our beloved Central Park has fallen victim!!!

the city is unbearable without more green spaces! City becomes inhospitable. We need many more public green spaces for mental health in this underserved city.
