We, the citizens of Kinder, Louisiana, want better treatment and housing for our community animals/strays that are being housed at our local pound.

Seeing this kind of momentum reminds me why I started fighting for these animals in the first place. It hits home to see so many neighbors finally acknowledge that the current conditions at our pound are unacceptable.

My children and I would love to help in any way we can! This is an awesome community and I know something better can be done! Thanks for shedding some light on this situation.
Kinder has been in need of a better dog pound or rescue center for 40 years plus.
One day I pray Allen Parish will have a no kill shelter. In the meantime maybe grants and collaboration within Region 5 will shed light on possible positive outcomes.
I think they should have A/C & heating Automatic waters and feeders And yes I do agree
Yes they do do deserve better but the owners just throwing them away or letting them go should be punished
The animals deserve better.
