When their elder loved one die due to covid and they realize later in life that they may have been the one to expose them. That probably will not cause any damage correct? What is your long term goal here?

Please consider how masking stunts social/emotional growth these students (our future.) Being masked hinders nearly all ability to understand emotional expression and furthermore for our younger learners: speech and language skills. These children no fault to themselves or parents are already undoubtedly behind educationally. Masking without a doubt will further aid in that. In addition to social emotional and speech/language delays can you honestly say that these masks are being worn properly to be effective? I encourage you to take a walk into an elementary school. Mask in class and physical education yet sit next to each other unmasked at lunch. There is no logic in this. Make the right decision.

Kids only believe masks are an issue when adults make it one. Until someone dear to you dies because of covid you can choose to be naive of the science. If all one has to do is wear a mask to protect the living and still some fight against it says much about human kind. My body my choice...cool then I reserve the right to use abortion as a form of birth control. Does that sound fair to everyone?

Masks only preform as a mitigation effort if worn correctly (fitted, multi-layered, not touched and washed or disposed after use) and we all know thats not what happens in a school setting. Staff should not have to be the mask police and be expected to be effective educators. There is little to no gain in safety but large detractions the educational experience. I do not support masking our children.
