The government has officially abandoned the proposal to reallocate land from the university. This outcome secures the future of our research facilities and ensures that students retain their space for academic study. Thank you for maintaining your focus on this cause until the final decision was reached.

The Govt. Of Odisha is planning to take away 500 acres of Educational Property from Orissa University Of Agriculture And Technology for establishment of Convention Centre-cum-Trade Zone. This will hamper the education and research activities of hundreds of students and must be opposed. There is only one University of agriculture in odisha. Don't take that from us. Already half of the land of ouat has been taken for airport construction. Now it is impossible to take all if it.

We at OUAT work for the basic need of mankind i.e. food. Lack of land will hamper the R & D activities relating to food production. The negative impact may not be visible in short term but will be definitely visible in long term.

Yaa, very very shocking decision from our Government.....instead of taking away our land, The Government should take necessary steps to improve the Agriculture and allied sector because Odisha is still far behind the other States of India.....so please...... STAY UNITED.....

The land of an educational institution should not be taken. The future of students will be hamperd. All the on going research projects will affected. Since india ia agrarian country there should be a institute solely affiliated to it present at the capital.

Agriculture is becoming most neglected sector day by day....Govt is bringing up schemes for farmers but the same Govt is taking away the land where the experiments are conducted by students which will help the farmers.....if there would be no land then where will the new technologies be developed and experimented

The further proceedings on this step needs to b revised again..Odisha's cream student layers enter into this prestigious only Agriculture n allied University in the state..The procurement of this land may hamper students livestock farm exposure and many more such research innovative fields..

Agricultural research in need of the hour & the most important agenda in this time. So, govt. Should not reduce the area rather give some more area for better research.
