Dear Vice-Chancellor,
We the undersigned call for cuts to various catering facilities on site from 1st Aug, in particular the closure of the Cellar and Pavilion bars, to be put on hold. This is to allow a full and informed consultation about the future of these amenities with all stakeholders, to take into account both financial considerations and their potential social and community value to the OU.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me of all the nights spent at the Pavilion bar during my own studies. It means the world to see so many people fighting to save these spaces that gave us a home on campus.

These bars were where I met my closest friends during the hardest years of my degree. We are gaining momentum toward the 500 mark and I need you to send the link to one person who knows how much this space matters to our community.

These bars are the only reason to stay on campus after hours. Keep them open.
Used to spend every Friday night there. Uni life is gonna be boring as hell without these places.
The cellar is iconic!! Why are they doing this?? So much history there.
Total joke. OU keep cutting everything that actually makes the campus feel like a real community. STOP IT.
Leave the bars alone. Plenty of places to save money without ruining the social life.
