I agree with this petition, keeping a few hens in our backyards only help nature and its natural environments.

Pet hens are the absolute best! They eat kitchen scraps, bugs and grubs, provide delicious eggs, are quiet, easy to raise, are trainable..This is an outdated by-law that really needs to change.

There just isn't an adequate and reliable supply of 'happy eggs' in Ottawa, I don't care about Organic so much as chickens that have freedom to roam and play. I WANT TO KEEP CHICKENS in MY BACKARD!
