We wish to petition the City of Ottawa to symbolize the commitment that Canadians and Ottawa citizens have in tackling global warming by officially joining other cities around the world in \'Earth Hour\' on March 29th from 8 to 9 p.m. On March 29th, 2008 cities such as Toronto, Chicago, Auckland, Tel Aviv, Copenhagen, Manila, Suva in Fiji, and Sydney, Australia will show their concern for Climate Change by turning off their lights and appliances for one hour (from 8 to 9 p.m.). It is our wish that the City of Ottawa officially join these cities in Earth Hour by doing the same. Thank you.
