As a drummer, I always need a parking space to unload my gear. It would be nice to have spots designated for musicians!

I'm happy to support other artists like Jayla and Scotty, who also believe in freedom for Canada's future as do I, Happy Thanksgiving Canada. :-)

In the 30sec it took me to run inside and grab a bag, bylaw was harassing my partner and she had to drive around the block. I had to wait longer for her to circle the block than it took for me to grab my bag.

If Uber Eats drivers can park in front of restaurants for long periods of time without penalty, there is no reason why music bands unloading their instruments should have to be penalized.

Let's get some councillors on board with this idea. Musicians help drive the local economy. Let's support them.

When it comes to infrastructure that is predominantly car dependent, you cannot levy fines that are openly hostile to working musicians. There must be protections like this in place.

For the 10-15 minutes it takes to load in gear, there's no reason for this to not be available!

I'm a musician and wedding DJ. For security as well as convenience, proper loading zones near venues is really necessary.

Load in has often been nearly back breaking exhausting and inconvenient at many Ottawa venues.
I agree that there should be better, safer designated areas to load in and out of shows.

Musicians like myself need this as we are getting fined all the time when we need to load heavy equipment into venues
