! OTRA Pittsburgh Tickets Lowered !
As you know, boyband One Direction are currently embarking on their On the Road Again Tour, which will be arriving in North America in the summer of 2015. Among the list of cities included in the tour-date list is Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh has long awaited for the band’s return (the last time the band preformed in Pittsburgh was July 8th, 2013), so naturally, we as a city are extremely excited for their upcoming concert in August. It has been nearly two years since they’ve preformed in Pittsburgh, and we are determined to make this concert as memorable as possible. Pittsburgh fans worked hard for three months to bring the band back (we contacted stadiums, wrote letters, had meetings, made petour management, radio stations, and used social media), so we are extremely excited for their return.
Our ultimate goal is to sell the concert out, or nearly sell out. However, fans are faced with a slight issue. You see, The On The Road Again Tour tickets went on sale not to long after the Where We Are Tour finished. Many people spent a majority of their money on Where We Are tickets, some of which were extremely expensive. Many Pittsburgh/Pennsylvania fans are in a dilemma, as many tickets are expensive, and difficult to purchase. Hundreds of people are waiting to buy tickets, but the price stands in the way.
On behalf of the city of Pittsburgh, we would like to petition to get the prices of tickets could be lowered. WE understand this is a lot to ask, but please know it would help ultimately sell the concert out. Heinz Field is one of the most renowned stadiums of this day and age, and for your band to sell it out would be a massive accomplishment. Many others and myself have attempted to solve the issue ourselves; We’ve reached out to nearly 20 radio stations, three news channels, and many others, all in attempt to see who could be of assistance to us. We have been somewhat successful, but as a whole, few parties have been of help.
Please sign this petition, as each signature gets us one step closer to our goal!
